About the Role... Due to continuous growth and the introduction of custom design service for built in furniture, Molmic sofas & exclusive European brands, we have a need for an assistant Sales Consultant for our Norwood Parade store. This is a Permanent parttime role for approx. 20+ hours per week including Saturday work with more available at peak sales periods in January & June - July The role is predominantly to operate as a Assistant manager liaising with current sales consultants & will involve direct sales, solution sales to residential and commercial clients. About You... To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: Were looking for an enthusiastic, well spoken, confident customer focused individual striving to provide high quality customer service in this retail sales role. Previous experience in home related retail sales and is passionate about, furniture, interior design. We are looking for some one who is going to bring their personality to the role. - Sales experience in furniture is preferred but not Essential
- Experience in managing a small team
- Has good computer skills in Microsoft Office Outlook & word.
- Has a commitment to excellence in customer service.
- Driven to making sales.
- You will be a good listener, well mannered and have great memory retention skills.
- Has excellent client focused communication skills
- Is a good communicator and self motivated to give clients a quality sales experience.
- Demonstrates drive, passion and commitment and a can do attitude
- Availability for Saturday roster is essential
- Display an understanding of furniture design & construction in order to sell custom make variations is an advantage
- Displays an outgoing nature, confidence in selling to our quality conscious clients.
