CLERICAL ADMIN ASSISTANT

An Australian owned family company operating for over 52 years, Pfitzner Furniture is a high quality local furniture maker and retailer, plus we are distributors of  Wood Adhesives from the United states through our business Woodbond Adhesives.  We are looking for a person to fill a role of  Admin Assistant to Bookkeeper & PA to General manager at our head office / factory.

  • Clerical admin assistant - 
  • Head office for manufacturing / retail business & Adhesives Distributor
  • ADEALIDE HILLS - 6 Mount Barker Rd Totness.
  • Working in renovated Adelaide hills office showroom
  • Full Time - 38 hours per week

We are looking for a friendly and professional person to join our team at Woodbond Adhesives & Pfitzner Furniture, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality furniture. As an Admin assistant, you will  often be the first point of contact for our customers, clients, and partners, and you will provide administrative support to bookkeeper. You will be responsible for invoicing and shipping adhesives orders from interstate warehouses via the WMS.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
  • Great memory retention and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Some retail experience is an advantage but not Essential
  • Experience with logistics and practical skills are an advantage

This is a Full Time role 38 hours per week. The role is an administrative / office role but can involve face to face & phone sales.
